Refund & Return Policy

1. Digital Goods — No Refund Policy
All purchases on Alis eSIM are for digital goods (eSIM data plans) that are delivered electronically and made available immediately upon payment confirmation. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are purchasing a digital product that is consumed electronically
- Delivery of the eSIM QR code constitutes fulfillment of the order
- You expressly consent to immediate delivery and waive any applicable cooling-off or withdrawal period
- All sales are final and non-refundable once the QR code has been delivered
This policy is consistent with standard industry practice for digital content and complies with applicable digital goods exemptions under consumer protection law.
2. PayPal Buyer Protection & Dispute Policy
We process payments via PayPal. Please be aware of the following regarding PayPal Buyer Protection and disputes:
- Digital goods are generally excluded from PayPal Buyer Protection under PayPal's User Agreement for intangible/digital items that do not require shipment
- Before opening a PayPal dispute, please contact our support team — we resolve the vast majority of issues quickly and amicably
- Chargebacks or disputes filed without first contacting us may result in account suspension from our platform
- If you believe you were charged in error or did not receive your order, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate promptly
3. When We Will Issue a Remedy
While all sales are final, we will provide a remedy (replacement, credit, or in rare cases a refund) in the following situations:
- Order not received — if your QR code was not delivered to your email within 30 minutes of payment, contact us and we will resend it immediately
- Incorrect plan delivered — if we delivered a different plan than what you ordered due to a system error on our side, we will correct it at no cost
- Plan activation failure — if an eSIM plan is completely non-functional in the advertised coverage area due to a carrier issue, we will investigate and offer an appropriate remedy
- Duplicate charge — if you were charged twice for the same order, we will refund the duplicate charge immediately
Remedies are evaluated case-by-case and are at the sole discretion of Alis eSIM.
4. What Is Not Covered
We cannot provide refunds for:
- Plans that have been activated or used (even partially)
- Purchases made for incompatible or carrier-locked devices — please check our compatible devices list before buying
- Network coverage issues in remote areas or temporary carrier outages beyond our control
- User error (e.g., selecting the wrong country or data amount)
- Change of travel plans after the QR code has been delivered
- Plans purchased through third-party resellers or unauthorized channels
5. Device Compatibility
eSIM requires a compatible, unlocked device. It is your responsibility to verify that your device supports eSIM before purchasing — see our list of compatible devices. Not sure? Contact us before buying — we are happy to help you check.
No refunds will be processed if your device is found to be incompatible or carrier-locked after purchase. This applies regardless of whether the eSIM has been activated, as the issue lies with device eligibility rather than a fault in the plan itself.
6. Network & Coverage Disclaimer
Mobile network coverage, speed, and reliability are provided by local carriers in each country. Alis eSIM resells carrier plans as-is and cannot be held responsible for:
- Coverage gaps in specific locations (e.g., rural or remote areas)
- Temporary carrier outages or scheduled maintenance
- Speed throttling after fair-use data thresholds
- Roaming compatibility between specific carrier networks
We display accurate coverage information for every plan. We recommend reviewing the coverage map before purchase.
